Vic Flick
Musician Vic Flick strummed the famous “James Bond Theme” on his guitar in the first Bond movie Dr. No (1962).

Track 1 – “Shaken Not Stirred” – Vic Flick & Les Hurdle’s Bond inspired original from Flick’s 2000 release, James Bond Now. Features tight aggressive bass lines with complex interesting horn arrangements.

Listen to Track 1 – Shaken Not Stirred.

Track 2 – “Black Tie Spy” – A collaborative theme song effort between Vic Flick and Spy-Fi from their 2008 release Black Tie Spy. Spy-Fi’s Thomas Pervanje says, “The tuxedo wearing cover model Kay O’Hara exemplifies and amplifies an interesting twist on the gender and role of James Bond,” part of the aural story in the album.

Listen to Track 2 – Black Tie Spy – Spy-Fi with Vic Flick.

Track 3 – “Soul Booker” – Another collaborative effort between Flick & Spy-Fi with obvious nods to Booker T. and the M.Gs. Flick’s horn arrangements add a solid underpinning to the organ and guitar work.

Four tracks Vic wrote and performed for the 2004 soundtrack for the movie that never was: Wilson Chance – The Sound of Danger ~

Track 4 – “Take A Chance”, with Linda Jackson singing lead in Vic’s very Bondian theme song for the film that never was, Wilson Chance: The Sound of Danger.

Track 5 – “Copacabinsky” – Caribbean-influenced Vic Flick original from his 2000 release, James Bond Now, used for the Wilson Chance film. Features strong flute improvisational work.

Track 6 – “Chance in Mexico”. A Flick-composed Latin interlude, setting a strong mood for a scene of the movie, Wilson Chance.

Track 7 – “Wilson Chance Theme”. A “Shaken Not Stirred” redux within the theme song for the movie.

Listen to Tracks 4, 5, 6, and 7 – New Vic Flick.
